Congratulations to Yvonne who won our Autumn competition.

She won a year’s worth of complementary cut & blow drys by recommending the most new clients to the salon.

Northern Star Business Awards 2011

Well, we didn’t win Creative Head’s Most Wanted award, but we had a great night in London, meeting old friends and making new ones! Keith Lemon entertained everyone with his (very!) distinctive brand of humour! Well deserved congratulations to Ken Picton Salons who won our category.

So, we’re looking ahead to the Northern Star Business Awards in October. Hatstand Nelly have finalised in the Overall Small Business Category.

Lorraine, Louise, Denise & Victoria will be attending the awards ceremony at the AECC on Thursday 6th October. Fingers crossed!

Denise and Clare attended Trend Magazine’s Awards Dinner at the Marcliffe Hotel last night and were delighted when we won the Hair Designer Crown category for the second year running!

Happy Cookbook in support of Archie & Clan..

Lorraine and Denise attended the launch of The Happy Cookbook at Gallery 121.

Abe Taylor very kindly created this terrific cookbook – The Happy Cookbook – to help raise funds for CLAN and the Archie Foundation. The book is full of great recipes, all donated by celebrities and professional chefs, and lots of bright colorful pictures – in essence a very professionally created cookbook.

Look out for the banana bread – sponsored by Hatstand Nelly, yum yum!

Books cost £15 and are available from the CLAN Centre, charity shops, or by emailing duncan.charles@clanhouse.org.
