Saturday was my first time at Hatstand Nelly, having followed Louise from her previous position. As usual she was excellent and gave me a really good cut and colour accompanied with interesting and humorous conversation.

The shop was very clean and tidy, with the staff I encountered acting very friendly and professional.

I especially liked the relaxed atmosphere and also appreciated a very good head massage when getting the colour washed out, believe me not many salons in my experience make this sort of effort.

So overall, I would say you are onto a winning formula and if the standards are kept at this level you can expect a new loyal customer

comments: 1st time appointment and was very impressed by the staff’s helpfulness and by the hairdressers tips on my hair type.
Haircut itself was styled really well and i was impressed that the hairdresser didn’t rely on hair straightners given my hair is prone to frizz. Def. recommended and will be going back.

It was my first time in Hat Stand Nelly and I loved it. My hair looks fantastic I am really really pleased. Louise was my hairdresser and I have never felt so good about my hair until now. I was very impressed, was my first visit and i’ll definately be back. My hair was done perfectly, i have often had problems with other hair dresssers not listening and giving me something totally different, not here. the interior is also amazing.

Recently had to find a new hair dresser – saw the outside of the shop and was very curious. None of my friends had been there, so couldn’t advise me. Thought to myself – I’ll give it a go – was very impressed – everyone was really friendly, whether they were attending to you or not, my new stylist did not scare me – which is a miracle! I look forward to having my hair cut now instead of the usual dread! I’ve even trusted her enough to have a colour done – very adventurous for me!

My cut n dry at the salon was a wonderful, relaxing, pampering experience that cant be beaten in my book…I came out of the door after an hour and a half feeling like a million dollars, my hair had never looked so good, the whole experience was all I couldve hoped for thanks ) …and I cant wait till this Friday to enjoy it all over again

I know it may look like I’m just being polite …. but really from the minute i walked in to the minute i left i was extremely impressed …… Many thanks to Louise for putting me at ease with city centre salons i have been living in Aberdeen for 4 years and until i walked in to ‘Nelly’ had never found a salon that i would be happy returning to …… Yet again thank you – see you in a few weeks for my next cut!!!!!!!!
